Dubbed
the "Velvet Hammer" by one client for his smooth but forceful ways,
Elton attended Howard Payne University where he graduated with High Honors,
received the Douglas MacArthur Freedom Medal which is given to the top graduate
of the university's honor program, and won numerous Top Oralist Awards in the
Texas Undergraduate Moot Court State Competitions. Upon graduation, Elton
attended Baylor University School of Law where he received the Jim Barlow
Student Award and earned the distinction of being placed on the Dean's List.
Elton is a life long resident of Waller County and served as an Assistant
District Attorney for Waller County before joining the Adams Law Firm, LLP.
Elton's hobbies include the renovation of his historic home in Hempstead with
his wife Holly and new son Drew.
